DetailsVintage 1987 Canadian edition of J.R.R. Tolkien’s 'The Lord of the Rings' 3-volume paperback box set, published by Unwin / Unicorn Paperbacks (ISBN 0-04-823200-9). Features the collectible continuous panoramic landscape artwork by Roger Garland.
Includes:
- The Fellowship of the Ring
- The Two Towers
- The Return of the King
HONEST CONDITION NOTE:
This is a heavily worn "reading copy" set, priced accordingly. The outer cardboard slipcase has significant structural wear and has been heavily reinforced with clear tape along the edges over the years, causing visible surface peeling and adhesive residue.
The individual paperbacks are fully readable with solid bindings and natural, age-appropriate tanning on the pages. The covers show clear signs of use, including noticeable reading creases on the spine of 'The Two Towers' and edge fraying. No missing or loose pages. Please review all photos closely before purchasing! -
