DetailsAuthentic Vintage Vintage Dushan Jade Baoding Balls (Yushi Jianshenqiu) from Nanyang,
This stunning, heavy solid-stone health ball set dates from the late 1970s to the 1980s.These are expertly hand-finished from genuine Dushan Jade—celebrated historically as one of the "Four Famous Jades of China."
Key Features & Collector Value:
• Striking Aesthetics: One sphere features a dramatic, highly desirable "split" or "two-tone" coloration where deep sage green directly meets milky white mineral banding. The second sphere showcases beautiful mottled, cloud-like sage patterns.
• Complete Vintage Presentation: Comes nestled in its original mid-to-late 20th-century silk-brocade padded box with a fabric bone-clasp closure.
• Original Provenance Included: Includes the rare original factory paper instruction slip from the "China Nanyang Jingzhuo Arts & Crafts Factory." The slip famously features a vintage 4-digit regional telephone number ("2925"), confirming its authentic age before national phone line modernization.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The stone spheres are beautifully aged with smooth, hand-lathed surfaces. The box and interior velvet lining show minor, charming vintage character consistent with age.
Perfect for collectors of Asian antiquities, mineral enthusiasts, or anyone practicing mindfulness and hand-dexterity exercises.
• Material: Solid Natural Dushan Jade (Anorthite/Zoisite complex)
• Weight: Heavy, solid stone (approx. 0.7-1 kg boxed package weight) -
