DetailsRare 1990s Canada Post Mascot Plush Bear
Bring home a rare piece of Canadian postal history! This vintage 14-inch Canada Post mascot plush bear is a highly collectible item with a unique backstory.
Unlike mass-produced retail toys, this bear was commissioned strictly as a limited-edition promotional run for The National Postal Hockey Tournament (Le Tournoi National de Hockey des Postes). It was distributed exclusively to Canada Post employees, tournament players, and staff, making it incredibly hard to find today.
Key Features:
• Authentic Uniform Details: Features the iconic royal blue letter carrier suit, a matching necktie with the classic Canada Post logo, a white chest pocket patch, and red shoulder patches reading "MAIL/POSTE".
• Original Manufacturer Tag Intact: The tush tag is perfectly preserved, explicitly stating: "Imported by Kirkwood & Murphy Ltd. Distributed in Canada exclusively by: The National Postal Hockey Tournament."
• Measurements: Approximately 14 inches tall (perfect for display shelves).
• Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The plush fur is clean, the colors remain vibrant, and the uniform patches are fully intact.
Perfect for vintage toy collectors, Canadiana enthusiasts, sports memorabilia collectors, or as a nostalgic gift for current and retired mail carriers! -
