Finished in a soft blue glaze with delicate violet floral transfer work, this piece features full natural crazing throughout, giving it the romantic cottage character collectors love. The elegant sloped butter dome adds architectural interest and classic farmhouse charm.
Unlike many antique examples, this set remains complete with its original base tray.
Approximate Measurements:
• Underplate: 10.5” long x 7.75” wide
• Butter dome lid: 4” high at tallest point
• 2” high at lowest sloped edge
Condition:
Glaze crazing consistent with age. A couple of fine hairlines are present, typical of antique ceramics; they do not go through and the piece remains solid and display-ready. The lid handle shows light age-appropriate glaze wear at the tip consistent with use. No structural cracks.
