DetailsThis gorgeous heavy, tall vintage claret jug is the kind of piece you lift with two hands and a little attitude. Thick pressed crystal, a polished silverplate twist-off top, and that bold Victorian look — it’s the real deal.
The crystal isn’t perfectly uniform (because vintage never is), but it’s beautiful, sparkly, and full of that old-world character collectors love. One small raised mold line is present from manufacturing — smooth to the touch and not a chip. ( see pic)
The silverplate top has been fully cleaned and polished on the outside. The inside of the lid has permanent age corrosion and plate wear that will NOT come off — totally normal for older silverplate and part of its authentic charm. The twist-off top works smoothly, and the jug feels solid, weighty, and absolutely impressive.
Perfect for display, bar carts, dinner settings, slow-pour serving, or simply showing off your good taste in vintage.
